Part II: Beyond JSON APIs

Once the pre-development checklists are marked, we start with building the API's. During this step we assume that design and data interfaces are decided so that engineering teams can start development. Any subsequent change in design and API design will involve updates to the underlying process as well.

The basic APIs are in place! But they aren't really ready for the real world. Ensure that your APIs are robust, error-free and easy to use and understand for all the consumers

Before you build anything planning is required. This series talks about what is needed before building any API be it talking to design teams to understand the user experience or building an optimized API to deliver faster experiences to the end customer. These are basic essentials which needs to be planned properly.
